Parce que l'économie sociale apporte des réponses aux défis sociaux actuels, ESCAP rassemble des expert.e.s académiques et de terrain qui ont un enjeu commun : soutenir le développement de l'économie sociale et de ses entreprises qui donnent la priorité à leur finalité sociale et adoptent des pratiques de gestion qui favorisent nettement l'inclusion sociale, la durabilité et/ou la participation de leurs parties prenantes. La richesse d'ESCAP repose sur l'articulation spécifique de la recherche et du terrain. Inspiré du TIESS au Québec, ESCAP vise à favoriser et à organiser la co-construction de connaissances et d'outils et leur transfert au sein de l'écosystème wallon de l'économie sociale. Cette dynamique de transfert d'expertise fait d'ESCAP un lieu privilégié pour faire émerger des réflexions et projets collectifs en faveur du développement de l'économie sociale. Ainsi, par son action de mise en réseau et son soutien opérationnel, ESCAP permet l'alliance de la recherche et du terrain comme rampe de lancements de projets structurants pour l'économie sociale wallonne. Grâce au financement de la région wallonne, ESCAP coordonne chaque année des groupes de travail qui rassemblent et produisent des connaissances et des outils sur des thématiques variées et évolutives : gouvernance démocratique, financé éthique, reporting extra-financier, enseignement de l'économie sociale, business modèles durables, genre et diversité, cadre juridique des coopératives,... Nous vous invitons à les découvrir dans ce rapport d'activités.
