Abstract
Dr. Karen Eisler in the U of R’s Faculty of Nursing has been recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Toronto (U of T), where she earned her PhD in Nursing in 2009. The Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the U of T says Eisler is receiving the award because throughout her career, “she has had a tremendous impact on nursing, nursing leadership and the healthcare system in Canada. Her many contributions have been especially notable in the areas of leadership, administration, and research and teaching.”
