Abstract
En este trabajo se pretende estudiar otra manera de crear vivienda, más acorde a las necesidades de hoy en día, económica y socialmente. Conceptos como el Open Building cambian por completo el acto de habitar, transformándolo de una consecuencia a un proceso. Habitar a medida. Dar poder a la unidad doméstica de cada vivienda a que forme parte del proceso que constituirá los espacios donde pasarán parte de sus vidas. Utilizar métodos constructivos que permitan la posibilidad de cambios con facilidad ya que habitar no es una acción estática, es la acción más dinámica que existe y la arquitectura tiene el deber de permitirlo. Se verán distintas variantes del Open Building y ejemplos de casos donde se han volcado estos conceptos. En cada uno de estos casos los habitantes son los protagonistas, definiendo los espacios y los usos de las distintas piezas que conforman sus hogares.
