Abstract
Al iniciarse este siglo se pone en evidencia la importancia de México como eje de un sistema migratorio regional que articula la movilidad de su población hacia los Estados Unidos y Canadá. No obstante que en este proceso la migración hacia los Estados Unidos destaca por su magnitud, Canadá constituye el segundo destino migratorio de los mexicanos. El presente volumen busca dar cuenta de la complejidad que, hoy en día, adopta la migración de México hacia Canadá y mostrar cómo las transformaciones políticas y económicas de México han configurado nuevos escenarios que impulsan y moldean los flujos de mexicanos que se dirigen hacia ese país, y cómo éstos se enfrentan a las nuevas políticas migratorias canadienses.
