A cidade de Maringá atualmente conta com apenas dois marcos geodésicos, localizados na Universidade Estadual de Maringá. O Centro Universitário de Maringá - UniCesumar possui uma grande infraestrutura em uma região da cidade em pleno desenvolvimento, sem nenhum ponto de referência geodésico. Este trabalho tem por objetivo implantar um marco geodésico, seguindo-se todos os manuais de padronização do IBGE (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística), e um ponto de apoio planialtimétrico no campus do Centro Universitário de Maringá, e dessa forma além de contribuir com as atividades de ensino, contribuir com os profissionais da área que necessitam realizar trabalhos de Engenharia nesta região da cidade. Realizou-se o rastreio de coordenadas dos pontos com o aparelho GPS (Global Positioning System), e o pós-processamento de dados com o programa Leica Geo Office Combined. Os resultados encontrados para o marco geodésico atenderam todos os manuais de padronização do IBGE e os do ponto de apoio planialtimétrico atenderam as normas para levantamentos geodésicos.
