Abstract
This is a quarter leather binding. The boards are covered with black cloth. The black leather spine has false raised bands, and the title is stamped in gold. There are several copies of this title in the Classics Library collection. This copy, title two of the collection, was in poor condition and brought to the Preservation Lab to receive conservation treatment. The leather spine was completely detached from the covers, the leather had deteriorated over time, and the inner joints were starting to break. As a result, treatment was conducted to reattached the detached leather spine, reinforce the inner joints and created a protective housing.
