Abstract
Розкривається система професійного розвитку вчителів Великобританії, Канади, США. Підкреслено, що показники успішності професійного розвитку вчителів Великобританії суттєво зростають. Держава збільшує асигнування на професійний розвиток учителів. Загалом, бути кращим в освіті у Великобританії винагороджується. Неперервна освіта вчителів у Великій Британії спрямована на формування індивідуальної стратегії та стилю викладання вчителів, які здатні до професійного розвитку, що забезпечується не тільки завдяки науковому обґрунтуванню (визначення цілей, формування й структурування змісту адекватно до цілей), але й ретельному технологічному опрацюванню. Зазначено, що у Канаді особливу увагу приділяють забезпеченню неперервного професійного розвитку освітян, які працюють у системі неперервної професійної педагогічної освіти і спрямовують власну діяльність на професійний розвиток учителів загальноосвітніх шкіл Канади. Діяльність системи неперервної професійної освіти спрямована на забезпечення можливостей професійного розвитку, здобуття нової кваліфікації чи спеціальності, а також професії на основі здобутого раніше рівня освітньої та професійної підготовки, набутого практичного досвіду. Аналіз неперервного професійного розвитку вчителів у США виявляє значне різноманіття підходів, форм і методів до післядипломного навчання вчителів. Збільшення професійних педагогічних мереж у США показує відкритість системи циркуляції й поширення знань у практичній педагогічній діяльності. Визначено, що це робить систему передачі знань між учителями більш гнучкою й ефективною – спілкування підвищує мотивацію вчителів і самоосвіту.
