Abstract
Questo volume nasce come nuova occasione di riflessione sull’esperienza costituzionale canadese nei centocinquant’anni dalla Confederazione, come è designato il processo aggregativo – scandito dalle tre conferenze di Charlottetown, Québec e Londra – che portò alla creazione del Dominion del Canada. Il volume nasce sulla scia di un simposio tenuto sul tema a Pisa, in cui studiosi italiani, canadesi e di altre nazionalità si riunirono proprio per riflettere su “history, evolution, influence and reform” del costituzionalismo canadese: con ciò sì chiari fin dall’inizio che la prospettiva era quella di guardare tanto alla storia e all’evoluzione delle forme costituzionali nel Paese quanto alla loro influenza a livello comparato.
