Abstract
Oceanographic data management in Canada is coordinated by the Marine Environmental Data Service (MEDS) located in Ottawa, Canada. MEDS has broadened its scope to include biological and chemical data as well as the standard physical oceanographic observations. This report summarizes the activities of Canada and MEDS to support oceanographic data management both nationally and internationally.
