En la presente tesis se ha tenido como objetivo general, demostrar si las sentencias logran ejecutarse de manera favorable al demandante, en procesos de Alimentos, en el Octavo Juzgado de Paz Letrado de Lima, en el año 2015, por ello se ha tomado población del desarrollo de la tesis a las sentencias de procesos de alimentos del Octavo Juzgado de Paz Letrado de Lima que fueron dictadas en el año 2015, así como se tomó una muestra de dos sentencias ejecutoriadas de proceso de alimentos del Octavo Juzgado de Paz Letrado de Lima en el año 2015. Asimismo, ha sido una tesis con enfoque cualitativo, con un tipo de estudio: en concordancia a la técnica de contrastación es orientado a la comprensión y en concordancia al fin que se persigue básica o pura, con un diseño de estudio fenomenológico y un nivel o alcance de investigación descriptiva. Las técnicas de recolección de datos fueron, la entrevista aplicada a dos jueces titulares de los Juzgados de Paz Letrado de Lima y el análisis documental de tres sentencias referente a la pensión de alimentos y los instrumentos de recolección de datos fueron las guías de entrevistas y la ficha de análisis documental. La conclusión de la presente tesis es que la efectividad de la ejecución de las sentencias en los procesos de Alimentos tiene un nivel muy bajo puesto que el tiempo de duración que toma desde que se inicia la demanda hasta llegar a la etapa ejecutiva, no logra satisfacer el fin de los justiciables.
