Esta selección bibliográfica ha tomado en cuenta las tendencias marcadas por los debates sobre las temáticas del cuerpo y la producción de estudios, las reflexiones e imágenes literarias, e investigaciones sobre y desde el cuerpo. No agrupa, por esto mismo, un conjunto de libros escogidos por algún otro orden (cronológico, o estrictamente temático) que no sea la investigación documental continuamente sorprendida durante su andar por las serendipias, esos hallazgos afortunados, y las inevitables visitaciones.
