Abstract
Le mémoire comporte six sections assorties de propositions et de recommandations. La première section rappelle les grandes lignes du système professionnel actuellement en place dans l’enseignement et les principes qui l’inspirent; la deuxième section traite de la problématique de l’accès à la profession; la troisième section discute de la formation des enseignants;la quatrième section parle de l’insertion professionnelle des nouveaux enseignants; la cinquième section aborde la question du cheminement de carrière des enseignants et leur formation continue; enfin, la sixième section fait état de certains enjeux sociaux marquant la\nprofession enseignante au Québec et, plus largement, l’organisation du travail en milieu scolaire.
