Ce mémoire-création accompagne l'installation Translations réalisée au Centre de diffusion et d'expérimentation de la maîtrise en arts visuels et médiatiques (CDEx), de l'UQAM. Le texte témoigne du parcours chronologique de recherches, d'exercices plastiques et d'œuvres réalisés au Chili d'abord, puis au Québec, dans le cadre d'études de maîtrise. Ces recherches interrogent la définition de l'identité, en réfléchissant le déplacement et l'incidence d'autrui sur la construction de soi dans le moment présent.
