Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Finalmente se ejemplifican los principales procesos que ocurren en situación de contacto de lenguas y de distintas variedades del español: transferencia, acomodación, nivelación y simplificación.\nThe linguistic reality in Canada and the situation of Spanish in MontrealThe constant migration flow has contributed to the multicultural and linguistically diverse shape of Canada as a country. In this context, we present the situation of Spanish as mother tongue, as foreign language and as heritage language in Montreal, a metropolis where the Spanish-French contact is favored by migration, the current teaching policies and the local perceptions of foreign language. We conclude by describing the main processes which result from language contact situation and among other Spanish varieties: transfer, accommodation, levelling, and simplification.\nLa realtà linguistica in Canada e la situazione dello spagnolo a MontrealI costanti flussi migratori hanno fatto del Canada un paese multiculturale e linguisticamente diversificato.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
