Cette étude a pour but de comparer les techniques disciplinaires instaurées dans trois écoles du Québec à celles de l'approche américaine le soutien au comportement positif (PBS). Plus précisément, nous déterminerons dans quelle mesure les pratiques disciplinaires québécoises se rapprochent de celles du PBS. Notons que ce mémoire comporte deux sections. D'abord, une première partie consiste en une recension des écrits au sujet de l'approche PBS. La seconde section, sous forme d'article, s'intéresse aux interventions disciplinaires instaurées dans les écoles selon quatre cibles distinctes : l'ensemble de l'école, les lieux extérieurs à la classe, la classe et l'élève en besoin. Dans le cadre de cette recherche, le questionnaire d'auto-évaluation SCP a été utilisé. Essentiellement, les résultats révèlent une faible instauration de pratiques disciplinaires associées au PBS dans les écoles québécoises. Les données indiquent également plusieurs priorités d'amélioration.
