Abstract
Not far distant is the site of what was once the French Fort of Beausejour, afterwards named Fort Cumberland by the English.It was suf- fered to fall into decay, but efforts are now being made to at least partially restore it, and it is a place of great interest to many tourists.Storied Halifax And then you race down through Nova Scotia, among the spruce-clad hills, over the Cobequid Moun- tains overlooking the picturesque Wentworth Valley and past the winding lakes and rivers, through the beautiful residentialtown of Truro, with its wonderful natural park, and on through sixty odd miles of fine farming country until you reach Halifax.
