Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The Canadian steamer was built in 1874 at Chatham, Ont., for the Beatty Line of Sarnia. She ran out of Sarnia to Lake Superior, Port Arthur, Fort William and Duluth. She was later joined by the "Ontario" and they became the largest vessels in that section. Sarnia Line later became the Northwestern Transp. Co. The "Quebec" sank in St. Mary's River in 1885. She was raised and rebuilt into an American steam barge, the "F. E. Spinner" which sank in 1900. She was raised again, repaired, and named "Helen C." which sank in 1922. She was raised a final time and used during construction of the bridge to Belle Isle on the Detroit River in 1923, after which she was abandoned there. She is pictured in this photo at dock with "Ontario".

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
