Die großen Wanderungsbewegungen unserer Zeit bringen nicht nur politische Integrationsfragen in stärkerem Maß als je zuvor mit sich. Auch die damit verbundene Durchmischung der Kulturen und Religionen fordert intensivere Aufmerksamkeit sowohl im tagesaktuellen wie im akademischen Bereich. So trifft das vorliegende Werk Kindertora – Kinderbibel – Kinderkoran. Neue Chancen für (inter-)religiöses Lernen genau ins Herz der aktuellen Fragestellungen zur Thematik des religiösen Miteinanders – und zwar sowohl das Genre als solches betreffend wie auch die diversen praxisorientierten Ansätze einbeziehend. In seiner Herangehensweise an das Thema stellt sich das Werk tatsächlich als Novum dar.
