Abstract
Los trabajos que integran este simposio se centran en la problemática de la formación docente inicial para la enseñanza de las ciencias. En todos los casos se nota una preocupación por lograr un desarrollo profesional que mejore la capacidad de reflexión del futuro profesor sobre su propia formación. En estos procesos metacognitivos se busca la incorporación de prácticas de análisis riguroso del conocimiento construido por el profesorado y al mismo tiempo se marca la necesidad de retroalimentar los procesos reflexivos de los investigadores y de los equipos de formación docente.
