Sleep Clinic - Secret Tapes [dsound-02]
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Sleep Clinic is the project of Jeff Swearengin from California. Jeff has been creating electronic music for many years now under different monikers. Mr. Swearengin sites many influences, from his love for Electronic artists like Autechre, Coil, Throbbing Gristle, downLOAD, Haujobb, Boards Of Canada, Scanner, FSOL and thighpaulsandra to his fascination of Metal acts like Fear Factory , Ulver, Godflesh, Ministry, Neurosis, Isis, Mare, Swans and Strapping Young Lad. Jeff's first release for Decisive Sound Records entitled "Secret Tapes" gathers old tape demos and unreleased tracks from 2000-2002. The music presented here explores sonic manipulations, audio experiments and a few beat oriented excursions. A weird assortment of different sounds and textures best listened to with a good pair of headphones, preferably in the dark.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.
