Abstract
Antologia di testi teatrali quebecchesi contemporanei. Sono presentati quattro testi (François Archambault, Giochi di società; Frédéric Blanchette, La distanza; Catherine-Anne Toupin, D’ora in poi; Larry Tremblay, Abramo Lincoln va a teatro), preceduti da due introduzioni. La prima, firmata da Pino Tierno, traccia un panorama del teatro quebecchese contemporaneo e delle quattro pièce presentate; la seconda, firmata da Fabio Regattin, si concentra sulla traduzione dei testi raccolti, proponendo una strategia traduttiva che, slegandosi da alcuni stereotipi legati al teatro della regione (per esempio la necessità di tradurre la varietà quebecchese con un linguaggio connotato in italiano), sappia renderne la complessità attraverso l'annessione.
