Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Lone Twin & The Table present True West
\n
\n“Revolutionary theatre” Time Out on ‘The Catastrophe Trilogy’
\n
\n“A triumph, theatrical magic” The Times on ‘The Festival’
\n\t\t
\nThe infamous Lone Twin duo return from an eight-year hiatus, with a raucous re- imagining of Sam Shepard’s True West.
\n
\nThe original play is set in a kitchen, in a house, in a suburb, some 40 miles out of Los Angeles in the late 1970s. It tells the tale of a family storm with two brothers at its eye.
\n
\nA classic study of social, cultural and political conflict and reconciliation, here True West is re-worked by Whelan, Winters and a tempestuous chorus drawn from the host venue and its local community. Hold onto your hats, it’s going to be quite a night.
\n
\nGregg Whelan and Gary Winters formed Lone Twin in 1997. The company’s work is met with popular and critical acclaim across the world. Recent productions include The Boat Project for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad and Street Dance for Sadler’s Wells and the Sydney Festival.
\n
\n“Impossible to pigeon-hole, crosses boundaries and brings people together” The Guardian

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
