Variáveis de saúde e aptidão física de pacientes em hemodiálise: análise longitudinal

Abstract
Resumo O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar as variáveis de saúde e de aptidão física de pacientes com Insuficiência Renal Crônica (IRC) em hemodiálise (HD) após o período de um ano. Estudo de natureza descritiva e analítica, com delineamento de coorte, no qual participaram 54 pacientes com IRC submetidos a HD na Clínica Renal do Hospital São Vicente de Paulo de Cruz Alta/RS. A avaliação foi realizada em 2018 e 2019, e utilizados os seguintes instrumentos: Mini Exame de Estado Mental, prontuário clínico, teste de sentar e levantar, flexão de antebraço, Dinamometria, flexiteste, índice Lawton-Brody, índice de Barthel, questionário de Edmonton FrailScale, inventário de depressão de Beck. Verificou-se que ao longo do período do estudo, algumas variáveis sofreram alterações, tanto negativas como positivas. Os pacientes pioraram seus escores na avaliação do índice de massa corporal, passando de eutróficos para sobrepeso, aumentaram os sintomas depressivos e melhoraram os índices da função cognitiva e fragilidade. O acompanhamento destes pacientes é fundamental para detectar implicações da IRC e da HD e embasar estratégias para melhorar as condição de saúde, considerando os aspectos biopsicossociais.
