Abstract
Розглянуто місце та значення канадської-української тематики у дослідженнях науковців Чернівецького національного університету. Простежено шлях становлення співпраці між ЧНУ та канадськими освітніми закладами (зокрема, Саскачеванським університетом) ще з радянських часів, коли закладалося підґрунтя становлення дослідних груп та започаткування наукових досліджень на базі університету. У тезах проаналізовано основні напрямки дослідницької роботи науковців університету у цій галузі, діяльність Центру канадських студій імені Рамона Гнатишина. Підсумовано, що протягом майже сорокарічної співпраці з канадською стороною суспільно-політична тематика посіла чільне місце у наукових дослідженнях та навчальному процесі ЧНУ. \n(The author examines the role and place of the Canadian-Ukrainian subject in research of the scholars of Chernivtsi National University. The paper explores the path of establishment of cooperation between Chernivtsi National University and Canadian educational institutions (in particular the University of Saskatchewan) from the Soviet times when they laid the foundation for research groups on the base of the University in Ukraine. Theses analyse the main vectors of research work in this sphere of the scholars at the University and the activity of Ramon Hnatyshyn Canadian Studies Centre. The paper summarizes that during almost a forty-year-long cooperation with the Canadian part, the social and political subject has been raised in scholarly works and educational process of Chernivtsi National University onto a high level.)
