Abstract
Tumbuhan mangrove mempunyai kemampuan mengakumulasi logam \nberat dan membantu mengurangi tingkat konsentrasi bahan pencemar di air. \nSedimen dan daun Avicennia marina berpotensi menjadi indikator kandungan \nlogam berat kadmium pada suatu daerah. Kandungan logam berat kadmium pada \nEkowisata Mangrove Wonorejo Surabaya tidak diketahui secara pasti. \nBerdasarkan pedoman baku mutu lingkungan menurut Surat Keputusan Menteri \nLingkungan Hidup Nomor: KEP-MEN LH No.51/MenKLH/ 2004, ambang batas \nkadmium untuk biota adalah 0,001 ppm. Ambang batas kadmium pada sedimen \nmengacu pada Canadian Council of Ministers for the Environment (CCME) yaitu \nsebesar 0,7 ppm. \nTujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kandungan logam berat \nkadmium pada sedimen tanah dan daun mangrove Avicennia marina di sungai \nJagir dan sungai Aftur Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Wonorejo. Metode \npenelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan survei lapangan dan \npengambilan sampel lalu dilakukan uji analisa Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom \n(SSA). Parameter penunjang yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah pH, suhu, \ndan salinitas. \nHasil uji Spektrofotometri Serapan Atom (SSA) menunjukkan bahwa pada \nsungai Jagir Kawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Surabaya menunjukkan kandungan \nlogam berat kadmium (Cd) tertinggi pada sedimen dan daun Avicennia marina \nmasing-masing nilainya 1,025 ppm dan 0,602 ppm. Kandungan logam berat \nkadmium (Cd) tertinggi pada sedimen dan daun Avicennia marina di sungai Aftur \nKawasan Ekowisata Mangrove Wonorejo Surabaya adalah 1,003 ppm dan 0,622 \nppm. Koefisien korelasi sedimen dan daun Avicennia marina pada sungai Jagir \nsebesar 0,932 dan pada sungai Aftur sebesar 0,929. Bentuk korelasi sedimen dan \ndaun Avicennia marina positif dengan hubungan korelasi sangat kuat.
