Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Technological evolution has enabled the advancement of security systems in practically all areas of knowledge. Dam engineering has also absorbed these new technologies. However, dam failures still occur. Thus, knowledge of current legislation and monitoring methods is essential. The legislation defines that the safety control of existing dams must be done through reports prepared by professionals with technical responsibility. This work addresses the main dam monitoring equipment, plus a brief overview of the technological advances of this type of equipment. With this, a study is carried out on the main equipment used to monitor the stability of dams, as well as an analysis of the National Dam Safety Policy, defined by Law No. 12,334, of 2010.It’s noted that there is a great similarity between current national legislation and Canadian ones.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
