Canada's Aurora Aircraft Patrol Fleet, Flu and Covid Vaccines, and The Mitten Project
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The federal government is under fire over an exclusive deal with Boeing to replace Canada's aging Aurora aircraft patrol fleet. We discuss the issue - and Canada's defense shortcomings - with Mercedes Stephenson - Global News Ottawa Bureau Chief and Host of \\"The West Block\\". Have you rolled-up your sleeves this year? Cold and flu season is here - but Albertans are falling behind the rest of the nation on this critical vaccine coverage. We get some insight as to what may be behind the hesitation - with Calgary-based Pharmacist, Jason Chan-Remillard. If you are homeless, it can obviously be challenging to keep warm over the winter months in Calgary - and that just happens to be the main goal of the \\"Mitten Project\\" - in support of \\"Be The Change YYC\\". We discuss the current 'need' in the city - and just how crucial a warm pair of gloves or mitts can be for those living outside this time of year - with Chaz Smith, Founder and CEO of \\"Be The Change YYC\\".
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Full frame distilled prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
