Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

In the last five years, we observed the development of a phenomenon in financial markets that had a very accelerated appreciation: cryptocurrencies, and its most innovative asset in recent economic history, Bitcoin. This explosive event was characterized by an abrupt volatility in its price, encouraging a study of its relationship with financial variables through the economic theory of linear regression models, taking as analysis scenario the period between 2014 and the third quarter of 2017. The results show the absence of a significant statistical correlation between stock market financial assets and the price of Bitcoin, as well as an interrelation with its most popular technical indicators Finally, from the analysis of the particularities of Bitcoin, there were indications of financial bubble phases for the period analyzed.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
