-- ABSTRACT: In most isolated Canadian communities, the establishment of a real hybrid energy system such as wind-diesel with storage is generally preceded by a set of theoretical studies. The complexity of the mechanical, electrical and thermodynamic models used to represent a hybrid energy system makes the development of a strategy for the management and control system a difficult task especially in terms of validation of the different models used. In this context, the creation of a modeling tool renders possible the simulation of the operation of these systems for a specific application. However, improvements in modeling and design are always necessary to make the system more competitive in isolated areas. Thus, this dissertation presents a contribution to the simulation and analysis of a wind-diesel hybrid energy system with compressed air energy storage (SHEDAC). The implementation of generic software of SHEDAC required a review of existing software in order to justify the choice of Matlab / Simulink as the environment of the development for the tool. The stages of the software’s conception and its various features are presented, facilitating afterward its understanding and manipulation. Since various model of the wind turbine and diesel generator systems already exist in previous works, a detailed review of these models has been done in order to choose the better one which represents both mechanical and electrical behavior of the described system. \nOnce the models are developed and implemented in the tool, numerical simulations were carried out to observe and analyze the dynamical behavior of wind turbines, diesel generators and the compressed air storage system, whether in individual or combined modes. The different subsystems were simulated for different load profiles and disturbances and were created to evaluate the performance of the developed control systems. Two coupling modes were applied to SHEDAC: a hybrid diesel-wind without an energy storage system and adding a compressed air energy storage system. The simulation results showed a good interaction between the different energy sources and the impact of the operation of wind turbines on both diesel genset and energy storage system. Moreover, the outline of a friendly user graphic interface for the wind turbine system was developed with the SHEDAC control software. -- Mot(s) clé(s) en anglais : wind-diesel hybrid system, wind power, diesel generator, energy storage, compressed air storage, dynamic models, numerical simulation.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
