Abstract
The public part of the Canadian Health Care System - also known as Public Health Care - is in desperate need of reforms to be able to provide the necessary health care services to the Canadian public in a solidly way and free of extra charges. All the more Public Health Care System is a vital part of the Canadian identity - distinguishing the Canadian way of life from the the big brother in the South. Values like fairness, equality and solidarity are the basis of the Canadian society. The main problem areas - namely financial, judicial, structural, political and service-related areas - are analyzed and the necessary federal premises for a successful cooperation of the Federal and the Provincial governments to achieve sucessful reforms of the Health Care System are given.
