Abstract
El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en las instalaciones del Laboratorio en Investigación en Nutrición y Alimentación en Peces y Crustáceos (LINAPC), Departamento Académico de Nutrición, Facultad de Zootecnia, Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM). El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar la digestibilidad aparente de la materia seca, proteína y extracto etéreo, así como la determinación de la energía digestible de la torta de sacha inchi cruda en juveniles de paiche (Arapaima gigas), usando el método indirecto con un marcador de óxido de cromo (Cr2O3), con el fin de obtener información importante para asegurar la calidad del agua al formular dietas más eficientes y reducir la excreción de nutrientes. Se utilizaron 18 juveniles de paiche, adquiridos de la estación piscícola “Fundo Palmeiras”. Los peces fueron recepcionados en dos acuarios de adaptación, donde permanecieron por tres días. Posteriormente fueron distribuidos aleatoriamente en seis acuarios de digestibilidad tipo Guelph, en número de tres peces por acuario. La duración de la fase experimental fue de 21 días, durante la cual se realizó las colecciones diarias de heces. Los resultados de coeficientes de digestibilidad aparente de la torta de sacha inchi cruda son para materia seca 77.91 por ciento, para proteína cruda 81.11 por ciento, para extracto etéreo 76.48 por ciento y para energía bruta 79.68 por ciento. La energía digestible obtenida para el paiche fue de 3730 Kcal/kg.
