The National Association for Business Economics held its 2025 Economic Policy Conference in Washington, DC. In this portion of the event, economic analysts discussed policy toward China amid President Donald Trump's impending 10% tariffs on China and 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico, which resulted in a big drop in the stock market. Panelists also discussed Taiwan's security amid President Trump's shift toward an embattled Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia's invasion.
