Dels horts ecològics urbans als horts ecològics socials: Una sortida a l'actual crisi?Dra.Elisenda Forés Introducció: l'agricultura ecològicaAgricultura i pesca, dos dels "oficis" més antics del món, han estat considerats durant el creixement dels sectors de la construcció i de serveis com les germanes pobres del sector productiu.Les que foren les primeres activitats que van assentar les poblacions nòmades en el neolític han quedat socialment relegades a ser considerades activitats dures i que aporten pocs ingressos econòmics per l' esforç destinat.Però estudiant la distribució d'activitats productives a nivell mundial, l'activitat agrària cobreix una de les principals necessitats de l' ésser humà: l'alimentació.Transforma elements abundants i inerts, minerals, aigua i energia solar, en aliments -si més no en les formes tradicionals d'agricultura.És l'activitat humana que més superfície ocupa al planeta, i, per tant, la d'impactes més extensos a nivell territorial, per a bé i per a mal.De fet, el medi rural acull el 50% de la població mundial.L'activitat agrària es va iniciar fa uns 10.000 anys, i ha anat evolucionant de manera diferent en els diversos territoris i cultures del món.En l'últim segle, la modernització agrària ha transformat les formes de fer agricultura, que avui en dia són molt semblants en la major part del planeta.
