Abstract
Las lesiones que se pueden ocasionar en la comisión de un delito están tipificadas y caracterizadas en el código penal argentino, constituyendo un capítulo en el que el perito odontólogo está llamado a colaborar como auxiliar de la Justicia. Objetivo: La presentación pretende clarificar aspectos específicos que el perito odontólogo debe conocer en su práctica experticia. Material y Método: La metodología se basa en una narrativa comparativa entre bibliografía científica. Resultados: La metodología permite comparar las características de cada tipo de lesión, la forma de su génesis, y sus consecuencias para poder tipificarlo y luego ser valorado por la Justicia. Conclusión: La labor del perito odontólogo en la valoración y tipificación justa del tipo de lesión permitirá encuadrar el delito y cumplir la función de auxiliar de la Justicia.
