Het doel van dit rechtsvergelijkende onderzoek is het verkrijgen van antwoord op de vraag of, en zo ja hoe en waarom, het schenden van bijzondere voorwaarden en elektronisch toezicht en het ontvluchten uit detentie zelfstandig strafbaar is gesteld in Frankrijk, België, Duitsland, Engeland en Wales en Canada, teneinde bij te dragen aan de besluitvorming over een eventuele strafbaarstelling hiervan in de Nederlandse wet.
