Abstract
Bages 1 A l b e r i Fabrega i Enfedaque IntmduccióLes anomenades "coves de forn" o "fornots" són coves artificials excavades en la roca.El seu nom prové del fet que la seva forma evoca la d'un forn de pa.Normalment es troben en roques toves que, en el cas del Bages, són blocs o petits cingles de gres i, en el cas de les comarques costaneres, com el Maresme o I'Emporda, són roques granitiques més dures.Tradicionalment s'han interpretat o bé com a eremitoris alt medievals o bé corn a coves sepulcrals.Tractarem d'argumentar que, segurament, les dues interpretacions són correctes, i que convé distingir-les de les fornicules menys fondes que eren oratoris excavats en la roca.Model3D @una cova de forn El Roc Foradat de cal Milhornec El ROC Foradat Rasa.Les seves coordenades, preses de cal Pratbarrina (Castelltallat, Bade caI Mílhomes amb GPS, són 41" 48' 54.3" N i lo ges).La cova esta excavada en la pa- (Castelltallat.Bages) 3 7 ' 13.8" (UTM X=385416, ret frontal d'un petit cingle de roca, Y=4630247).L'altitud és de 7 0 0 m a una alcada de 1.8 m del nivel1 del El Roc Foradat es troba situat en snm.s01.És una típica cova de forn, amb un vessant defort pendent, encarat al Ens en va donar noticia, acom-la boca gairebé circular.Té planta migdia, sobreel marge esquerre de la panyant-nos a l'indret, el Joan Muns, el.liptica, amb un eix major de 1.25 El Roc Foradat Porta m i un eix menor de 0.9 m.L'alcada interior maxima és de 0.9 m.L'entrada fa 0.7 m de diarnetre.A la vora del camí que hi mena s'hi veuen fragments de ceramica iberica oxidada, molt rodada, i aigun fragmeni de sílex.A la part superior de la carena, que és molt plana, a mig camí de cal Milhomes, h i ha un túmul circular de pedres, d'uns 10 m de diarneire.' .:-T?F3! .
