Abstract
Ziel der Bachelorarbeit ist es, die heutige und zukünftige Bedeutung des digitalen Roll-Outs in den Kinosälen zu darzustellen. Die Arbeit wird deshalb von der zentralen Fragestellung durchzogen, durch welche Maßnahmen die digitale Revolution in den Kinos umgesetzt werden kann. Hierbei darf man neben den finanziellen Aspekten, nicht die sozialen und kulturellen Aspekte außer Acht lassen. Eine aktuelle Betrachtung der Marktsituation und ein Blick auf die aktuellen Diskussionen über den Fortschritt und Umsetzung der Digitalisierung sollen einen groben Überblick über den momentanen Stand der Situation liefern. Außerdem wird die ganze Thematik, die Digitalisierung in Deutschland, mit der amerikanischen Filmindustrie verglichen. Zu letzt wird noch ein kleiner Ausblick in die Zukunft gegeben und mögliche Tendenzen, Chancen und Risken der digitalen Umstellung beschrieben.
