Abstract
Este primer estudio permitió revelar la situación actual de las universidades latinoamericanas, en lo relativo al nivel de madurez de Gobernanza de las TICs, reconociendo los temas pendientes e identificando acciones de fortalecimiento para avanzar en la incorporación de este tipo de estrategias en ellas. \n \n \nLa iniciativa nace de la motivación del grupo de trabajo de Gobernanza de las TICs de la Comunidad TICAL, integrada por Directores de Tecnología de universidades latinoamericanas. \n \nEn este encuentro temático revisaremos los resultados obtenidos y los aspectos del instrumento que pueden ser mejorados, con el fin de hacer este proceso de evaluación periódicamente. \n \nNos acompañan dos destacadas investigadoras de Brasil, líderes de esta iniciativa.
