Abstract
Al revisarse el tema de las conexiones precalificadas para estructuras metálicas o en acero, se encuentra que hay diversos autores que han explicado los tipos de conexiones que existen, y que cumplen parámetros incluidos en las normas tanto a nivel mundial como regional; esto, acompañado de ensayos experimentales, lleva a obtener una conexión viable para su uso en la práctica. Se muestra una recopilación de cada documento revisado, mostrando los parámetros encontrados por los autores, quienes han usado y comparado diversas combinaciones en los componentes de las conexiones a momento y dando sus conclusiones y recomendaciones propias, pero estas no se transcriben en este trabajo, antes bien, se plasma las ideas y conclusiones propias del autor de este trabajo de grado, luego de estudiar y comparar todos los resultados investigados en la literatura. Se resalta el estudio de las conexiones a momento de estructuras metálicas como: End Plate (placa extrema), Double T (doble T), Plata Banda y Vigas RBS (vigas de sección reducida), mostrándose los parámetros principales de cada una de ellas, así como el análisis de las variantes que pueden presentarse en la configuración y la modificación en los resultados.
