Abstract
A narrow trail in a rocky cedar forest where wild ginger creates a green forest floor cover. Tree roots probe, finger-like, for grips among the rocks. Evening side-lighting creates interesting landscapes and close-up views. The Eramosa River occupies a glacial meltwater channel flowing over Silurian Era Amabel Formation dolostone rock. Glacio-fluvio potholes and dry waterfalls are evidence of the rushing meltwater torrent 13 millennia ago. Wild ginger creates a green forest floor cover. White cedar roots probe finger-like for a grip among the rocks.
