[ESPN-TV] Blue Jackets vs Oilers: Live Stream (NHL Hockey Online 2019)
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The Blue Jackets made a ton of noise at the trade deadline by bringing in some of the biggest names available but so far they haven’t been able to make it work according to plan as they are fighting for their playoff lives with less than 10 games remaining on their schedule. The Jackets head into Edmonton to face off against an Oilers side who still has an outside shot at getting into the Western Conference playoffs so it won’t come easy, Watch Live:: https://247itv.info/ice-hockey Watch Live:: https://247itv.info/ice-hockey especially with the Oilers on home ice who always seem to play better in front of their home fans. Columbus has struggled on the road against the Oilers over the years as they are currently mired in an 8-20 stretch in their 28 trips but they are 7-3 in their last 10 meetings overall with Edmonton and are considered the favorites in this spot on Thursday night. The Oilers meanwhile have floundered a number of opportunities to get themselves into a playoff position as they were trounced in St. Louis in their last outing and things don’t get easier for them here against a very motivated Columbus side. Edmonton still has a number of things they need to address before they will be back in the discussion as a serious Cup contender and they need to do so in a hurry as they are wasting valuable time with Connor McDavid at the forefront of their rebuild. Edmonton is 1-7 in their last 8 games as a home dog and are a woeful 6-14 in their last 20 home games and it is stats like that that make the Oilers a tough team to back both as a supporter and as a handicapper. The Jackets are 4-1 in their last 5 against the Pacific and winless in their last 4 road games while Edmonton is 3-7 in their last 10 meetings with Columbus while the Over is 22-8 in their last 30 encounters. Look for this one to eclipse the number again as both teams are fighting for playoff positioning and look for offense to come early and often.
