El Mercado Integrado Latinoamericano es un mercado regional creado por las bolsas de valores de los países de Chile, Colombia y Perú. Dicho mercado ofrece un sin número de oportunidades a los inversionistas e intermediarios para la compra de títulos de renta variable en cualquiera de las tres plazas bursátiles. El propósito de este trabajo es la conformación de un portafolio de inversión en renta variable que, bajo los estudios de Markowitz (1952), se pretenderá realizar para tres perfiles de riesgo. Se tendrán en cuenta las herramientas tradicionales para la conformación de un portafolio como lo son las fronteras eficientes, el riesgo, la varianza, la covarianza y demás herramientas matemáticas enfocadas en la realización y conformación de una cartera. Finalmente se utilizaran algunos ratios que permitirán evaluar el desempeño de los portafolios conformados
