En los tiempos de incertidumbre que vivimos, editar un libro sobre la trascendencia de las elecciones de Estados Unidos en la geopolítica mundial y de manera particular en América Latina, es tarea urgente y necesaria. El presente texto plantea por ello la manera en qué las elecciones de en Estados Unidos recordaron al mundo la existencia de los olvidados y mostraron la realidad de una sociedad "violenta en lo individual y belicosa en lo social", en la cual el uso del lenguaje políticamente correcto se convierte hiperbólicamente en elemento represor. También se expone a los poderes fácticos y revisa muchas categorías políticas tales como el racismo, la discriminación machista y patriarcal, el populismo, la soberanía popular, el nacionalismo y plantea interrogantes cruciales para entender la geopolítica actual.
