Hakkı Baha (Hakkı Baba)’nın, “Monolog, Ben Filosof Oldum” adlı eseri, Atatürk Üniversitesi Merkez Kütüphane, Seyfettin Özege Bölümü, Nadir Eserler kısmında bulunmaktadır. Ancak eserin künye kaydı, yazar adı sehven “Hakkı Baba” şeklinde yazılmıştır. Hakkı Baha Pars tarafından yazılmış olan eserin tarihi belirsizdir. Eserin orijinalinde basım tarihi bulunmamaktadır. Ancak, Hakkı Baha İmtihan ve Ben Feylesof Oldum (Monolog), Ev Hocası, (1), İstanbul, İkdam Matbaası, 1339, 1 Temmuz 1339 (1923): 12 ve Hakkı Baha “Din-i İslam ve Ruhbaniyet”, İlim, Fen, Felsefe Tetebbuatı Mecmuası, Yıl:1, (1), Ankara, Matbuat ve İstihbarat Matbaası, Haziran 1338, arka iç kapakta yer alan tanıtım tarihleri göz önünde bulundurulduğunda eserin 1922/23 yıllarında Ankara’da basılmış olduğu düşünülebilir. Hakkı Bey eleştiri içerikli bu eserinde dönemin öğrencilerinin eğitim yükünü, eğitim esnasında kullanılan materyallerin yetersizliğini, eğitmenlerin ve öğretmenlerin yaklaşım tarzlarını ele almış, farklı idealleri ve amaçları olan gençlerin ileride yaşayacakları mesleki sorunları dile getirmiştir. Örnek olarak tarih ders ve kitaplarında sadece kahramanların ön plana çıkarıldığını, savaş kazanmış şahıslar hakkında sayfalarca yazılar yazıldığını, buna karşılık bir vesile yenilmiş karakterleri ise birkaç cümle ile geçiştirildiğini ifade ederek niçin tarihçi değil de filozof olmayı tercih ettiğini açıklamıştır. Bu çalışma sayesinde bir lise öğrencisinin dönemin eğitim anlayışına bakışı görülebilmektedir.
