Abstract
Il volume raccoglie le relazioni e gli interventi presentati al Convegno del 16 aprile 2021, realizzato nell’ambito del Progetto PRIN 2017 (“Implicazioni costituzionali dei separatismi europei” – Unità di Ricerca della Università di Siena “Separatismi, diritti \ndelle minoranze e trasformazioni della cittadinanza”). L’iniziativa ha avuto ad oggetto il tema delle identità minoritarie al tempo della pandemia, con particolare attenzione alla condizione, ai bisogni e alle istanze delle comunità minoritarie (linguistiche, culturali, religiose) storicamente stanziate in Italia e nei territori di diversi Stati europei e in Canada. \nSi è così potuto riflettere, con l’impiego del metodo comparato, sulle maggiori criticità emerse durante l’emergenza sanitaria rispetto all’ accommodation delle diversità nella cornice di alcuni ordinamenti di democrazia pluralista, con l’obiettivo di contribuire alla discussione scientifica sulla protezione e promozione delle identità minoritarie, variamente declinate. È innegabile, infatti, che la gestione della pandemia, così come il post-pandemia, hanno avuto ripercussioni (anche) sul trattamento delle situazioni minoritarie, da un lato mettendo ancora più a repentaglio quelle già svantaggiate per molteplici e ben note ragioni e, dall’altro lato, riportando al centro del dibattito istituzionale – in taluni contesti più \nche altrove – rivendicazioni autonomistiche e istanze nazionalistiche che sembravano momentaneamente sopite.
