Este libro propone recuperar las trayectorias de las y los activistas y militantes argentinos que fueron pioneros en los debates que posibilitaron la elaboración de la Convención sobre los Derechos del Niño y también los primeros pasos para su implementación a nivel local. Se compone de doce relatos elaborados a partir de la realización de entrevistas en profundidad enfocadas en las trayectorias y experiencias de quienes, hacia fines de la década de 1980 y principios de 1990, tuvieron una importante y destacada labor en el campo de los derechos humanos, y moldearon así específicas formas de interpretar los derechos de los niños, niñas y adolescentes. Se trata de Estela de Carlotto, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, Norberto Liwski, Alicia Pierini, Sara Cánepa, Eduardo Bustelo, Emilio García Méndez, Lucila Larrandart, Marisa Graham, Irene Konterllnik, Nelly Minyersky y Laura Taffetani.Como integrante del equipo que elaboró el libro, fui entrevistadora y editora de los capítulos de Norberto Liwski y Emilio García Méndez.
