Este artículo analiza en profundidad las diversas interpretaciones que la práctica historiográfica ha ido dando a la expresión «revolución militar». Asimismo, se estudia la especial
\ncontribución militar española en la consolidación de la revolución militar que tiene lugar
\nen la Europa de fines del Medievo, y en la cual el campo de prueba para los métodos revolucionarios de los ejércitos españoles resultan ser las guerras de Granada y de Italia.
