Treball de recerca realitzat per una alumna d’ensenyament secundari i guardonat amb un Premi CIRIT per fomentar l'esperit científic del Jovent l’any 2008. Estudi al voltant de la novel•la l’Ombra del vent, de l’autor Carlos Ruiz Zafón. El treball es proposa bàsicament dos objectius: en primer lloc, saber fins a quin punt una novel•la històrica, una obra de ficció, però que pressuposa una trama ambientada en un espai i una època ben concrets, recull adientment, a través de les descripcions, els personatges i l’argument, l’esperit i els fets de l’època. La recerca també pretén esbrinar en quin grau la Barcelona descrita a l’obra i la Barcelona «real» coincideixen o divergeixen. El mètode d’investigació aplicat és el de l’observació.
