Aquest projecte respon al nom de "Ròtula" entès com el punt mitjà de connexió entre el futur eix verd i el parc del Retiro de Madrid. La intervenció consisteix en un equipament tèxtil que pretén, de forma amable, resoldre la inacabada illa dotant d'un lloc de descans amb un ús de refugi climàtic d'ombra. Un dels objectius del projecte consisteix a introduir el sistema de reciclatge tèxtil dins d'un teixit dens de ciutat, vinculant i creant un sistema d'osmosi entre el projecte, els edificis existents i els veïns. La volumetria de tres edificis, dos d'ells de nova planta i un d'existent, respon a un equipament que barreja un centre educatiu, un espai creatiu i una zona de fàbrica de reciclatge tèxtil, per donar una nova vida al producte i reduir els residus de la zona. El projecte fomenta l'aparició d'espais de relació i genera una gran porta d'entrada al jardí públic d'interior d'illa. Pel que fa a la materialitat, s'usen diferents tècniques aprofitant les màximes prestacions de cada material, optant per a una construcció sostenible i de proximitat. A partir d'una unitat modular, s'empra el formigó per als forjats, l'acer per a l'estructura principal i la fusta per a la façana interior evitant la humitat. Tanmateix, s'utilitzen sistemes bioclimàtics passius per disminuir la demanda energètica, aprofitant les condicions climàtiques exteriors i reduint les emissions de CO₂ a l'atmosfera.
