Estudio realizado a partir de un corpus personal de ejemplos de aspectos léxicos de la variable lingüística del francés hablado en la región canadiense del Quebec y alrededores. Entre los ejemplos anteriormente referidos se encuentran términos con significado único en el Quebec, términos heredados del francés, algunos de ellos considerados arcaicos o en desuso en Francia; modificaciones destinadas a facilitar un lenguaje epiceno, variaciones en el sistema métrico e inclusión de palabras inglesas en el lenguaje coloquial.<br /><br />
